SMS Privacy Policy
This policy is published by SDSI Business Systems, Inc. (“SDSI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), 25060 Hancock Ave #419, Murrieta, CA 92562, United States. Rapid Estimator is a product of SDSI Business Systems, Inc. It explains how we collect, use and protect information when you opt in to receive SMS and MMS text messages from Rapid Estimator. The general Privacy Notice still applies. This page is the messaging-specific notice carriers and The Campaign Registry look for.
1. Information we collect for text messaging
When you opt in to Rapid Estimator SMS, we may collect:
- Your mobile phone number
- Your name, company and email, if you give them
- The fact of your consent, the method (website form, verbal, or keyword), and the date
- Message history with us, including HELP and STOP requests
- Support, demo or license information needed to send a relevant customer-care message
2. How we collect it
We collect it from you: the SMS opt-in form at rapidestimator.net/sms, the optional checkbox on the contact form, a verbal request on a support or sales call, or a keyword you text to (951) 461-8490 (for example START). That is the Rapid Estimator SMS number. We also collect it from the phone system we use to deliver the messages.
3. How we use it
We use this information only to:
- Send the customer-care texts you opted in to receive (demo scheduling, support appointment reminders, license or account notices, and two-way support about Rapid Estimator)
- Answer your texts, including HELP and STOP
- Keep a record of consent and opt-out
- Operate, secure and troubleshoot the messaging program
- Meet carrier, The Campaign Registry, and legal requirements
Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchasing Rapid Estimator or of receiving support.
4. Sharing — mobile opt-in is not sold or shared for marketing
We disclose mobile numbers and related records only to the recipients named on our Sub-Processors page, and only so those parties can deliver the messages or run the systems that support them (today that includes GoTo Technologies USA, Inc. for GoTo Connect SMS). We do not sell personal information.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5. Access to Mobile Data
Access to mobile data is limited to authorized personnel who need it to perform approved business, operational, or support functions. Access rights are assigned based on role and are restricted to the minimum information necessary.
6. Permitted Use of Mobile Data
Mobile data may be used only for legitimate internal purposes related to providing, maintaining, securing, and supporting Rapid Estimator, this website, and the SMS program you opted into. Unauthorized access, sharing, disclosure, or use of mobile data is prohibited.
7. Restrictions on Sharing
Your mobile opt-in data and consent will not be transferred to external organizations for marketing or promotional purposes. Internal access is controlled and limited to authorized users acting within their assigned responsibilities. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The phone system that delivers a message processes the number only to send the texts you opted in to receive, and not for that provider’s own marketing.
8. Safeguards and Protections
- Administrative safeguards: access authorization procedures, role-based responsibilities, internal policies, and workforce oversight.
- Technical safeguards: system access controls, authentication measures, monitoring, and other security controls designed to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
- Physical safeguards: measures to protect devices, systems, and facilities where mobile data may be accessed or stored.
9. Protection Against Unauthorized Access
We maintain safeguards and restrictions designed to prevent unauthorized access to, use of, or disclosure of mobile data and to ensure that access remains limited, appropriate, and secure.
10. Opt-out
You may stop Rapid Estimator texts at any time. Reply STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to (951) 461-8490, or to any message we send you. You will receive one confirmation and then no further messages from this program unless you opt in again. You may also email rapidestimator@sdsinow.com or call (800) 872-7160 and ask to be removed from SMS.
For help, reply HELP or use the contact details below. Additional terms are on the SMS Terms page.
11. Retention
We keep SMS consent and opt-out records for as long as you are a customer, and for 24 months after you opt out or your last message, whichever is later, so we can honour STOP and show consent if a carrier asks. Message logs follow the same period unless a longer period is required by law.
12. Contact Information
Consumers can contact the message sender about the SMS program or this policy using the contact methods provided on this website. For questions or assistance, contact SDSI Business Systems, Inc. (Rapid Estimator):
